Glint Launcher
Terms of Service
Last updated September 30, 2026
The short version
- Glint is free. Use it on your own devices; don't copy, resell, or reverse engineer it.
- It's provided as is. It's early software and may have bugs, and you can lose your layout.
- Other apps, widgets, and the weather data belong to their owners, not us.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Bryson Alef LLC ("we", "us") about the Glint Launcher app for Android ("Glint"), including its beta, which Google Play lists as "Glint Launcher (beta)". By installing or using Glint, you agree to them and to the Glint Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Glint.
2. Who can use Glint
You must be at least 13 years old to use Glint. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
3. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Glint on Android devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not:
- copy, modify, or distribute Glint, or make works based on it;
- sell, rent, or sublicense it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where the law allows this despite this restriction; or
- use it in a way that breaks the law or harms other people.
We own Glint and all rights in it, including its name, design, and code. These terms don't give you any rights beyond the license above.
4. Your content and feedback
You're responsible for having the right to use the wallpapers, fonts, and icon packs you import, and we don't claim any rights in them. While Glint is your home screen, it also sets its current wallpaper as your phone's home screen wallpaper, which stays after you uninstall Glint until you change it.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Glint without owing you anything for them.
5. Other apps, widgets, and services
Glint opens and shows apps and widgets made by other developers, and hands searches to other apps and search engines. Those apps and services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.
If you turn on the weather, Glint shows data from Open-Meteo, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Weather data can be wrong or out of date. Don't rely on it for safety decisions. We may change weather providers.
6. Updates and availability
Glint is in beta. We may change, add, or remove features at any time, and we may stop offering or updating Glint.
7. No warranties
Glint is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Glint will be error-free, work with every device or app, or keep your data safe from loss.
In particular, Glint stores its data on your phone and doesn't back it up. Uninstalling Glint, clearing its storage, a bug, or a failed update can erase your Cards and settings, and we can't recover them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Glint. Our total liability for any claim about Glint won't exceed twenty US dollars (US$20).
Some places don't allow these limits. Where they don't, they apply only as far as the law allows.
9. Ending this agreement
You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling Glint. Your license ends automatically if you break these terms. The ownership terms in section 3, and sections 4, 7, 8, 11, and 13, still apply after that.
10. Google Play
If you got Glint from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service govern your use of Google Play. Google isn't responsible for Glint or for providing support for it.
11. Governing law
The laws of the State of Illinois, USA, govern these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state or federal courts in DuPage County, Illinois, will resolve any dispute about Glint or these terms, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the place you live.
12. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, say so in the app or in its Play Store release notes. If you keep using Glint after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
13. General
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Glint. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a provision, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
